If I were DMing, I would give a sizable AC bonus, or maybe even disadvantage to attack rolls against the shield wielder, but disallow any feat that would grant two attacks. In 5e, with it's bounded accuracy, dual shield that do damage would be the OBVIOUS way to do combat. That extra +2 to AC is a big deal in 5e.Read more
